What a core charge is
Some rebuilt parts require your old component (the core) back so it can be rebuilt for the next customer. A core charge is collected at checkout and held until we receive and inspect your core. The amount is shown on the product page and order confirmation.
Think of it as a refundable deposit, not an extra product fee, when your core passes inspection.
How to ship your core
After the rebuilt part arrives, pack your old core in sturdy packaging, include your order number inside the box, and ship it to the address we provide. Submit inbound tracking from your account or ask Zora so we can match the package to your order.
Freight or oversized cores need pre-approved shipping arrangements. Do not ship a core until you have return instructions.
Inspection and refund timing
Cores are inspected when received. Complete, rebuildable cores that match the purchased part typically receive a full core refund to the original payment method (or store credit when agreed). Damaged, incomplete, or incorrect cores may receive a partial refund or none.
Return cores promptly. Eligibility can expire if a core arrives after the timeframe on your order. Contact us early if you need an extension.
